ACHIEVE YOUR
GOLD STANDARD.
One-on-one coaching built around a single goal: your next personal record.
Dan Golden has spent his life chasing the clock - and now he wants to help other runners do the same. A Texas 6A Individual and Team State Champion in cross country, Dan went on to run cross country and track at The University of Texas, competing at the Division 1 level against the best in the country.
Throughout his career, Dan has trained under several different coaches and experienced just as many different training methodologies. He still leans on those same coaches and what he learned from them to guide his own training. That experience is why he brings a unique edge to his coaching and can provide tailored guidance based on the athlete's specific needs.
Dan coaches the mental side of the sport as seriously as the physical: discipline to put in the work nobody sees, real enjoyment of the process, and a genuine belief in yourself when a race gets hard.
His athletes consistently point to the same thing: he shows up for them. Motivating people is one of Dan's biggest strengths, and it shows in how he coaches — direct, invested, and genuinely committed to seeing every runner he works with achieve their goal.

The PR Coaching Program
A fully individualized training plan, built around your schedule, your history, and the distance you're chasing.
Custom Training Plan
Every week is written for you — mileage, workouts, and long runs built around your current fitness, your race calendar, and your life outside of running.
Direct Access to Dan
Regular check-ins and direct messaging so your plan adjusts in real time — to bad weeks, breakthroughs, travel, and everything in between.
Race-Day Strategy
Pacing plans, fueling strategy, and a taper built to get you to the start line fresh and to the finish line with nothing left on the course.
Built for Your Goal
You don't need to be chasing a state title to work with a state champion. This program meets you wherever you are, physically and mentally.
New to racing and wants a plan that builds fitness safely, without burning out on enthusiasm alone.
Knows their sport and is chasing a specific time — a sub-3:30, a Boston Qualifier, a track PR — and is ready for structured, purposeful training.
Returning from injury, a break, or just feeling stuck — fit enough on paper and ready for an experienced eye to guide the buildup back.
Race Programs
Race-specific training builds pacing, fueling, and taper plans around the course and conditions you'll actually face.
